The valleys of St. Catherine .. a destination for tourists to see the picturesque landscapes
The city of Saint Catherine in its geographical expanse, contains many valleys which have natural landscapes, and although it has the Holy Valley of Tuwa.
The Mountain of Transfiguration and Mount Moses, peace be upon him, there are other places in it, full of picturesque landscapes, monuments and civilizations through the ages, and tourists come to photograph them.
Transfiguration City
The City of Transfiguration is one of the most famous tourist cities in the world, as it possesses historical religious elements that represent all religions.

Dr. Mahmoud Othman, an inspector of antiquities in St. Catherine, confirmed to Al-Watan that the Valley of the Arbaeen is one of the most important of these valleys, explaining that access to it is from the heart of the city of St. Catherine, accompanied by a Bedouin guide, adding that the valley contains the rock of Moses, peace be upon him, and the water wells that he relies on. The Bedouins and the nuns of the monastery, due to the abundance of that water, have it.
He added that reaching the heart of the valley takes about an hour on foot and contains many picturesque landscapes, of mountains, trees and gardens of olive and almond trees, and wild plants such as basil, thyme and al-Bathran.
Etlah Valley:
Ramadan al-Jabali, son of the al-Jabaliyya tribe, told Al-Watan that Wadi Atlah includes one of the most important places full of scenic landscapes and groundwater on which the people of the valley depend in the field of agriculture.
